Crooked Finger Brewery

We recommend the Pork Belly Deviled Eggs!

Ah, Raise a Glass to Crooked Finger! ☘️

Listen here, friends — Dublin may not have a traditional Irish pub with fiddles blarin’ and Guinness on tap, but we’ve got somethin’ even better for the soul: Crooked Finger Brewing, right in the heart of historic downtown at 226 South Jefferson Street.

This grand wee brewpub pours up a fine selection of locally crafted beers that capture the spirit of Middle Georgia: bold, flavorful, and made with care. Whether ye fancy a crisp lager, a hoppy IPA, or one of their seasonal specials, there’s a pint waitin’ with your name on it. And the best part? They pair it with proper eatin’ — think smoked brisket done right, from rich Brisket Queso and loaded Brisket Nachos to other hearty bites from their kitchen or food truck.

It’s the kind of place where good people gather: family-friendly by day (bring the dog too!), lively with friends, and the occasional live music by night. Grab a table on a sunny afternoon, settle in with a cold one and some smoky goodness, and enjoy that easy small-town craic that makes ye glad to be in Dublin.

No pretension. Just great local brews, delicious food, and the warm welcome ye’d expect in these parts.

Petals & Pastries

Petals & Pastries: A Little Slice of Color on Madison Street

Ah sure, isn’t it a grand thing when you stumble across a place that feels like pure sunshine even on an ordinary day in Dublin?

There I was, wanderin’ along West Madison Street, when the umbrellas caught me eye. A whole canopy of them — red, blue, purple, yellow, every colour under the sky — strung up overhead like someone had decided the street itself deserved a party. Beneath that cheerful ceiling sits Petals & Pastries, a walk-up window café with outdoor seating that feels more like a little garden party than a coffee stop.

I ordered the maple pecan scone (the star of the show in the photos, and rightly so) and an iced caramel coffee to go with it. The scone arrived warm, golden, and generous, with a soft crumb, toasted pecans, and a glossy maple glaze that dripped just enough to make a proper mess of your fingers. Sweet without being cloying, nutty without being heavy, the sort of bake that makes you slow down and actually taste the day.

The seating is simple and lovely: yellow tables, a few plants, string lights, and that glorious umbrella canopy overhead. It’s the kind of spot where you can sit a while, watch the street go by, and feel like you’ve found a secret pocket of color in the middle of town. The brick walls (one soft blue, one bright green) and the little dried-flower arrangement pinned up with a cheeky black bat only add to the charm. It’s playful, pretty, and proper welcoming.

You’ll find them at 107 W Madison Street, Dublin, GA. It’s a walk-up situation, so the experience is easy and outdoor-focused : perfect for a quick treat or a longer linger under the umbrellas.

If you’re after a maple pecan scone that tastes like autumn decided to smile, or simply a pretty place to sit with a cold drink and a bit of colour overhead, this is your spot. Sure the umbrellas alone are worth the stroll.

Go on and treat yourself. You won’t regret it.
